The Chef’s Table menu at Canvass is based on our relationships with the suppliers and farmers we work with. Keeping to the sustainable ethos and healthier purpose of our cuisine. While we use our chefs menu’s to share a more indulgent gastronomic style to our food experience.
The menus are mostly in the 6 to 8-course range and are cooked and directed by our chef. He takes an extra keen interest in the whole process, while the rest of the team assists and learns.
The chef’s menus are developed from higher end “gastronomic” ideas based on the chef’s previous years in fine dining.
The price range is RM180-RM225++, 6 to 8-course menu.
The difference in this price range would be due to the use of specialty ingredients, their availability and cost range from our suppliers or farmers.
The menus can be entirely plant based and vegetarian if needed. Or based on the coolest available seafood or other imported proteins.
In most cases they are comprised of a grand mix of all the ingredients we have access to. And always with our fermented and pickled ingredients to play a part in this creativity.
We also offer the opportunity to have some of our more unique cocktails and wines to be a part of these evenings too. Should this have your interest.
